She graduated from İstanbul University Academy of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1993. Having conducted studies and research in manual therapy, reflexology, acupressure, osteopathy, craniosacral therapy, physiology and pain management; she earned her master’s degree in Anatomy from Marmara University. She worked at several prestigious institutions such as İstanbul University Department of Neurology and Kartal Koşuyolu Heart Training and Research Hospital. She taught Anatomy and Manual Therapy at Marmara University, Haliç University, Acıbadem University and Bezmialem University. Senior Physiotherapist & Osteopath Sözmen, who continues her studies on neural mobilization, has been a lecturer within the scope of the Osteopathy Education Program of the Turkish Institute for Adapted Osteopathy since 2009.
